7/9/2015 0 Comments Spreading Your Wings When I am out on the boat and the wind is whipping through my hair,oh I hate my hair when its windy, I feel free. I don't think about the things that need to get done at home. I watch the seagulls and think about how they live. All they think about it how to get from point A to point B. They never say "how do my feathers look?" or "OMG the wind is tying knots in my feathers." or my favorite "Ewwe you smell like fish."
They take off and head the way the wind takes them. They hang out on the beach until some tourist disturbs their rest. Dinner is always a dive away. Not a bad way to live. But then reality and the responsibilities of life hits me and I think about what I need to get done for the day. Oh to be a gull....
